Description

This course is a continuation of Introduction to Environmental Science-Global Issues, but. It is NOT required to take Introduction to Environmental Science-Global Issues in order to take this course. This course will initially review the major environmental issues of air and water pollution, hazardous materials, solid waste, open space radiation and noise pollution as well as the chemical and physical tools used to study the environment. This course will look specifically at environmental issues in Israel. In addition the course will look at the environment is an issue in the peace process. Each student will research and present a specific topic. There will be one field trip during the course.
