Student Projects
Each student in the regular program, after consulting with faculty members in his or her subject area, is required to undertake a semester-long independent research or internship project. This project is a chance to gain greater knowledge in issues that relate to the student's area of interest.
The course also includes research skills training sessions. Faculty cooperation and advising is expected, as are a research paper and a presentation to classmates and faculty members.
