Preservation of Open Spaces and Forestry
Overview
A survey was conducted to examine the attitudes of visitors to KKL forests on issues surrounding development and preservation. The study confirmed a higher commitment to environmental protection as well as environmental literacy among forest visitors than among Israelis who do not frequent the forests. In addition the study identified many specific improvements in the "services" provided in the KKL facilities and recreational programs.
