The Board of Trustees of the Friends of the Arava Institute
Each member of the Board of Trustees of the Friends of the Arava Institute (FAI) is committed to supporting the mission of working toward peace and sustainable development on a regional (Middle East) and global scale by encouraging environmental cooperation among peoples, primarily through support of the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies (AIES).
That commitment shall be shown in ways which include, but are not necessarily limited to, providing personal and professional knowledge and skills to the Board, contributing personal financial resources to its programs through FAI or other channels, expanding the Arava Institute's bases of support by establishing new and reinforcing existing contacts with individuals and institutions, seeking financial support for the Arava Institute from those individuals and institutions, and actively participating in one or more Board committees and regularly scheduled Board meetings and conference calls.
Each member of the FAI Board of Trustees understands that the health and vitality of Arava Institute depends, in large part, on their individual and collective creativity and resourcefulness.
